The Non-Traditional Entrepreneur Panel Discussion

Carol Heady will be a featured panelist at the Non-Traditional Entrepreneurship Panel Discussion held at Marist College, Poughkeepsie, NY.
The Iota Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. will host its second annual “Non-Traditional Entrepreneur Panel Discussion” on Thursday, May 6, 2010 from 5:30pm-7:30pm at Marist College. This panel discussion will provide participants with an interactive opportunity to learn more about the aspects of starting, running, financing, and growing a business. The program is designed for minorities, women, and dislocated workers interested in establishing their own businesses and will offer them access to business support networks, assistance in creating a business concept and developing an operative business plan, preparation of an organizational vision and mission. In an effort to assist new and aspiring entrepreneurs in developing basic business management skills, refining business concepts, devising early-stage marketing plans and preparation of action plans, a panel of local minority and female business owners and professionals will share their knowledge and expertise on entrepreneurialship.
The event is being sponsored by the Marist College School of Management and will take place in the Rotunda Student Center-Admission Auditorium. This event is FREE and opened to the public!
